The Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, Virginia is a companion facility to the Smithsonian's Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC.

Its two large hangars house: an SR-71 Blackbird; the Space Shuttle Discovery; the supersonic passenger jet Concorde; and the Enola Gay Boeing B-29 Superfortress bomber. Many more magnificently restored aircraft and spacecraft are on display.

The exhibits present photographers with an ideal opportunity to capture High Dynamic Range (HDR) images that can be rendered photorealistically or imaginatively using a variety of post processing software applications. The resulting images are limited only by technical skill, imagination, and artistic creativity.
