Saturday, January 31, 2015: Red-tailed hawk photographed at Centennial Park.
The Red-tailed hawk had caught a squirrel and was dining on it while perched on a large tree limb just a few feet from the path that loops around the lake.
I'd like to thank Amy and Lee who kindly pointed-out the approximate location of the hawk that they had spotted just several minutes earlier during their walk around the lake.
