- Portraits of a juvenile Great Blue Heron.
There was some nice light illuminating the heron in the mid- to late-afternoon.
So I decided on a gallery of images of it posing, preening, keeping a close eye on a Red-shouldered hawk soaring high above the dam, and taking a short flight to the base of the dam.
