Fox and 4 Kits
Howard County, MD
June 2, 2025
Photos:
- Mom looks after her 4 kits living in the backyard of a private residence
- The homeowner kindly gave permission to my friend (a neighbor of the homeowner) and me to photograph the foxes.
- We spent a wonderful hour in the early morning light as mom looked after her kits as they explored and played with one another.
- On a couple of occasions they got out of hand and required some disciplinary action by mom to make sure they knew when they disobeyed her.
- But all was ultimately forgiven as mom let them stay close to her for safety and comfort.
