Brighton Dam is a 20 minute drive from our home. Since 1959, 5 acres adjacent to the reservoir has been set aside for 20,000 Azalea bushes and, since the 1990's, a collection of Kousa dogwood trees.

In early May, we visited the gardens and captured some of the colorful scenes: landscape views, pathways through garden, and close-ups of individual flowers.

I captured a few in-camera multiple exposure artistic renderings, and Diana also applied some post processing artistic filters to a couple of my shots using Photoshop plug-ins, such as Topaz "Simplify".
