- Bald Eagle feeding on deer carcass
Four Bald Eagles were scavenging the last remnants of a deer carcass. Three flew off taking refuge in a large tree at the back of the property.
However this eagle (suspected to be 4+ years old; nearly all white neck feathers with just a bit of brown visible) was fearless and allowed me to capture several portrait and flight shots as he(she) dined on a few remaining morsels.
